The foundation of my treatment philosophy began as a student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. At Harvard, we were trained that dentistry and oral health is a subspecialty of medicine. In fact, all of our courses during the first two years were combined with the medical school. The links between oral health and overall health have been well documented and continue to be researched. My first and primary goal is to educate patients on how optimal oral health improves function, esthetics, overall health and quality-of-life.

Graduating from dental school was only the first step. I was drawn to the art and science of treating very complicated dental problems. The specialty of Prosthodontics embodies this. I then completed a 3-year residency program in Prosthodontics and a Master’s in Dental Science degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. This was followed by Board Certification in Prosthodontics. Through this experience, I gained the confidence to restore the most challenging functional and aesthetic dental cases and merge those skills with the aim of educating patients on the benefits of optimal oral health and improved quality-of-life.

I recognize that each person’s case is unique and I carefully design personalized treatment plans and dental restorations for our patients. To achieve a high level of customization and precision, I collaborate with a skilled laboratory ceramist in our office. Having a laboratory and technician in our office is very unique and allows us to fully design and fabricate customized dental restorations on-site. This produces restorations that are functional, hygienic and highly aesthetic. I’m constantly striving for simplicity, predictability and longevity. I believe this will set the foundation for greater overall health, quality-of-life and self confidence.
